RTE’s SonicTC.FRF testing software offers a complete analysis and evaluation module for measured transmission functions (FRF – Frequency Response Function). Resulting modal parameters /e.g. Natural frequencies and damping) are automatically determined. In combination with the user-friendly user interface and the powerful functionalities, this opens up new possibilities for applications in the laboratory or prototype construction.
A database for large amounts of data (e.g. SQL and others) is the heart of the testing software, which enables hassle-free analysis and extensive studies of measurement data through sorting functions and filters.

THE SOLUTION FOR YOUR TESTING TASK
The flexibility of the testing software enables the connection of any measuring hardware, sensors or actuators. It is also easy to control existing devices, such as modal hammers, weighing systems, etc.
The integrated user management enables a user interface tailored to the purpose of the application and prevents unauthorized data access. The ability to configure SonicTC in the respective national language makes it particularly user-friendly.
The scope of services is continually expanded and optimized through feedback from our customers and cooperation partners.
For example, laser vibrometers from Polytec and automatic excitation units from Maul-Theet can be integrated through the integrated interfaces.
MEASUREMENT WITH SONICTC.FRF
Measuring processes and evaluation algorithms are easily set up to suit your testing task using drag & drop. For example, you can easily parameterize repeat measurements directly in the testing software.
Measurements are started either directly via the user interface of the testing software or with the help of controls on the measuring device.
Measurement results are clearly displayed on the screen. It is possible to choose between different representation forms (e.g. real/imaginary, amplitude/phase).
Comprehensive change management in the testing software allows you to seamlessly track and document all changes to the measuring system.
ANALYZE AND DOCUMENT MEASUREMENT DATA
All relevant data is archived in a database and is available for comprehensive analyzes and detailed investigations.
In addition to the measurement data, additional information such as images, batch information or comments can be added.
The calculation of the natural frequencies from the FRF is possible using parameterizable features, whereby the numerical values are displayed in a table and can be saved in, for example, separate text files.
A reporting tool enables clear presentation and documentation; all diagrams can also be annotated and copied to other documents via the clipboard.
A special USP: SonicTC offers complete automatic change tracking of the testing system.
